Vision
Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)
As Senior Pastor of Church on the Rock International Dream Center (COTRIDC), I would like to share with you the vision that I believe God has given me for Uvalde and this region. I believe God has a unique plan for this region. By preaching and teaching people the truth of God's Word, lives are changing. Our ministry, Church On The Rock International Dream Center, started meeting in the Holiday Inn in 2005 then moved to the downtown plaza. We outgrew the facility and are now conveniently located in the heart of Uvalde. God has truly had a hand on the work that is taking place in our church. Not only in our new facility, but God has opened doors of opportunity with places of business, city officials, and leaders among the community of Uvalde.
To the Glory of God, within one year, we have purchased 6 acres of land on East Highway 90. This is a tremendous testimony of what God can do when people simply believe. This excellent, God given location will be home to the future COTRIDC. Our facility will be like none other and will serve as a platform to touch the broken, the hopeless, and the helpless. It will consist of a large main sanctuary that will seat 500, a youth center, child care center, a Bible School, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, bookstore, comfortable lounging areas, and a cafe. With God's help our facility will be unique in architecture and design, and equipped with lighting, sound, and graphics to bring a never before seen experience to any first time visitor. We want to take church time out of it's man made traditional box. With this in mind, our desire and aim is to simply reach people. Our church slogan is to, "Come Live The Dream." "What dream?", you may ask. The dream is to live in the destiny that God has planned long ago for an individual to walk into. I have told my congregation, the script has been written. All one needs to do is to simply walk in it; get into the story line. Our ministry believes in the Written Word of God, the Bible, and it states in John 10:10, "That Christ came to give us life, but not just life, but life to the full or until it overflows." This is God's desire for not only church going people, but for anyone who will simply believe.
